Shopify

Yumday is powered by Shopify, and I can’t imagine using any other system to manage my e-commerce and point-of-sale (POS) systems. It’s a highly trusted platform that’s perfect for businesses at any stage because it gives you the tools to start selling right away and provides resources and support to help you grow. When I first started using Shopify, I only had a handful of products to sell (my curated snack box collections). Today, I have a large sales catalog and rely on Shopify for my physical store’s POS.

With Shopify, you can:

  • Create and customize an online store

  • Sell in multiple places, including web, mobile, social media, online marketplaces, brick-and-mortar locations, and pop-up shops

  • Manage products, inventory, payments, and shipping

Shopify is completely cloud-based and hosted, which means you don't have to worry about upgrading or maintaining software or web servers. This gives you the flexibility to access and run your business from almost anywhere, including your mobile device.

You don’t need to be a designer or developer to get started either. Shopify offers free and premium shop templates to help you launch a site that showcases your brand. Customization is easy — in fact, I built Yumday all by myself. Plus, there are apps that you can install to help you add features and functions to enhance your shop. I use the Shopify Mail app to manage my email marketing; and I also have Shopify integrated with Shippo, which is the shipping platform I use to get my orders sent to customers around the world.
